Der 3.2 TDCi 4x4 im Ford Ranger (ES, ET) setzt Mehrleistung über die Einspritzmenge um. Bei 147 kW (200 PS), rund 46 kW pro Liter Hubraum, heißt das: Abgastemperatur und Rußbildung wachsen schneller als der Ladedruck — und sie sind es, die dem Motor unter Dauerlast zusetzen.
Empfohlene Konfiguration für den 3.2 TDCi 4x4 (147 kW): In dieser Kategorie sind mehrere Ausbaustufen freigegeben — welche passt, hängt vom Ausbauzustand ab. Stage 1 TD ist der Einstieg für den serienbelassenen Wagen. Stage 2.5 TD Power-Max regelt variabel und ladedruckgeführt — die übliche Wahl bei moderater Mehrleistung und Dauerlast. Stage 3 TD MPG-MAX ist die Vollausbaustufe für stärkere Software, Anhänger- und Langstreckenbetrieb.

Standard Boost Cooler kits ship with red pressure hoses and push-on fittings. The ProLine variant uses stainless steel braided lines and AN fittings - motorsport-grade pressure resistance, higher heat tolerance.
