Boost Cooler - Naturally Aspirated (Gasoline)
Water-methanol injection for naturally aspirated gasoline engines – increased knock resistance, lower intake temperatures and more performance potential.
Snow Performance Boost Cooler water-methanol injection systems for naturally aspirated engines are designed to provide effective intake-air and combustion cooling under high engine loads. Finely atomized water or a water-methanol mixture absorbs heat as it evaporates, helping to reduce intake and combustion temperatures, suppress knock and maintain optimum ignition timing.
Especially in high-compression and performance-tuned naturally aspirated gasoline engines, increased knock resistance can provide valuable additional tuning headroom. With the appropriate engine setup and calibration, more aggressive ignition timing and higher compression ratios can be utilized while reducing thermal stress. Snow Performance specifies up to 10% additional power potential for naturally aspirated applications, depending on the engine configuration and tuning.
The Snow Performance Boost Cooler Stage 3 NA EFI is specifically designed for naturally aspirated gasoline engines with conventional electronic fuel injection (EFI / port injection). Its progressive 2D controller meters the water-methanol injection according to engine load and fuel injection quantity, while Dual Stage technology allows precise fluid delivery across a wide operating range.
Ideal for high-compression engines, tuned naturally aspirated applications and motorsport use where knock control, consistent performance and thermal management are essential.
