Gebaut von 2007 bis 2012, liefert der 318d im BMW 3 Touring (E91) 100 kW (136 PS). Typisch für den aufgeladenen Diesel: Der Motor verträgt mehr Einspritzmenge, aber die thermische Reserve wird knapp — spürbar bei Anhängerbetrieb, langer Autobahnetappe oder nach einer Softwareoptimierung.
Empfohlene Konfiguration für den 318d (100 kW): Für diesen Motor sind mehrere Stufen hinterlegt; die Wahl richtet sich nach Softwarestand und Einsatzzweck. Stage 1 TD ist der Einstieg für den serienbelassenen Wagen. Stage 2.5 TD Power-Max regelt variabel und ladedruckgeführt — die übliche Wahl bei moderater Mehrleistung und Dauerlast. Stage 3 TD MPG-MAX ist die Vollausbaustufe für stärkere Software, Anhänger- und Langstreckenbetrieb.
Effekt in Zahlen: 100 bis 300 °C niedrigere Abgastemperatur, sichtbar sauberere Verbrennung und mehr thermische Reserve unter Dauerlast. Mit abgestimmter Software kommen 65 PS und mehr dazu.

Standard Boost Cooler kits ship with red pressure hoses and push-on fittings. The ProLine variant uses stainless steel braided lines and AN fittings - motorsport-grade pressure resistance, higher heat tolerance.
