Gebaut ab 2009, kommt der 2.8 V6 Turbo OPC 4x4 im Opel Insignia Sports Tourer auf 239 kW (325 PS), rund 85 kW pro Liter Hubraum,. Turbomotoren mit Saugrohreinspritzung reagieren empfindlich auf warme Ansaugluft — sichtbar an zurückgenommenem Zündwinkel und schwankender Volllastleistung im Sommer.
Empfohlene Konfiguration für den 2.8 V6 Turbo OPC 4x4 (239 kW): Für diesen Motor sind mehrere Stufen hinterlegt; die Wahl richtet sich nach Softwarestand und Einsatzzweck. Stage 1 ist der Einstieg für den serienbelassenen Wagen. Stage 2.5 Power-Max regelt variabel und ladedruckgeführt — die übliche Wahl bei moderater Mehrleistung und Dauerlast. Stage 3 EFI bietet die feinste Abstimmung, sobald Ladedruck oder Software angefasst wurden.
Effekt in Zahlen: −40 bis −60 °C weniger Ladelufttemperatur, spürbar größere Klopfreserve auf handelsüblichem Kraftstoff und eine Volllast, die auch bei hohen Außentemperaturen nicht mehr wegbricht.

Standard Boost Cooler kits ship with red pressure hoses and push-on fittings. The ProLine variant uses stainless steel braided lines and AN fittings - motorsport-grade pressure resistance, higher heat tolerance.
