Gebaut ab 2004, kommt der 2.0 Turbo im Opel Astra H auf 147 kW (200 PS), rund 74 kW pro Liter Hubraum,. Turbomotoren mit Saugrohreinspritzung reagieren empfindlich auf warme Ansaugluft — sichtbar an zurückgenommenem Zündwinkel und schwankender Volllastleistung im Sommer.
Empfohlene Konfiguration für den 2.0 Turbo (147 kW): In dieser Kategorie sind mehrere Ausbaustufen freigegeben — welche passt, hängt vom Ausbauzustand ab. Stage 1 ist der Einstieg für den serienbelassenen Wagen. Stage 2.5 Power-Max regelt variabel und ladedruckgeführt — die übliche Wahl bei moderater Mehrleistung und Dauerlast. Stage 3 EFI bietet die feinste Abstimmung, sobald Ladedruck oder Software angefasst wurden.
Effekt in Zahlen: −40 bis −60 °C niedrigere Ansaugtemperatur unter Volllast, dadurch mehr Klopfreserve und weniger Zündwinkelrücknahme. Die Leistung bleibt auch im Sommer und bei wiederholter Volllast stabil.

Standard Boost Cooler kits ship with red pressure hoses and push-on fittings. The ProLine variant uses stainless steel braided lines and AN fittings - motorsport-grade pressure resistance, higher heat tolerance.
