Water Methanol Injection for all turbo-/supercharged engines up to 2.1 bar of boost pressure.
This water/meth kit comes with variable Injection (VC-30) and 300PSI/20bar Pumpsystem and ProLine steel flex lines. It progressively injects more or less water or water/alcohol, according to manifold boost pressure. Includes a simple handheld display screen to set your injection points.
The Stage 2 Boost Cooler progressively injects more or less water or water/alcohol, according to manifold boost pressure (MAP sensor included). The system can be set in seconds using the LCD programming unit supplied.
For all turbo/compressor engines up to 2.1 bar boost pressure.

The operation is very simple: The Boost Cooler system starts injecting when the boost switch reaches the user-adjustable point and it injects a fixed amount of fluid through the nozzle until the switch opens again.
Upgradeable to Stage 2 and Stage 3 Systems.

Beim John Cooper Works im MINI Mini Coupe (R58) ist der serienmäßige Ladeluftkühler auf 155 kW (211 PS) ausgelegt — nicht auf mehr. Bei Softwareoptimierung wird die Ladeluft heiß, und die Klopfreserve schrumpft genau dort, wo die Mehrleistung anliegen soll.
Empfohlene Konfiguration für den John Cooper Works (155 kW): Passend sind hier mehrere Ausbaustufen — entscheidend ist, wie weit der Motor bereits optimiert ist. Stage 1 ist der Einstieg für den serienbelassenen Wagen. Stage 2.5 Power-Max regelt variabel und ladedruckgeführt — die übliche Wahl bei moderater Mehrleistung und Dauerlast. Stage 3 DI ist auf Direkteinspritzer abgestimmt — schneller Druckaufbau und passendes Düsen-Setup.
Effekt in Zahlen: −40 bis −60 °C weniger Ladelufttemperatur, spürbar größere Klopfreserve auf handelsüblichem Kraftstoff und eine Volllast, die auch bei hohen Außentemperaturen nicht mehr wegbricht.

Boost Cooler vs. Boost Cooler ProLine
Standard Boost Cooler kits ship with red pressure hoses and push-on fittings. The ProLine variant uses stainless steel braided lines and AN fittings - motorsport-grade pressure resistance, higher heat tolerance.
