Direkteinspritzung und Aufladung bringen den RS6 quattro (2008–2010) im Audi A6 (4F2, C6) auf 426 kW (579 PS). Der Kraftstoff kühlt den Brennraum bereits mit — was fehlt, ist Kühlung der Ladeluft selbst, sobald Software oder Dauerlast die Temperaturen nach oben treiben.
Empfohlene Konfiguration für den RS6 quattro (426 kW): Passend sind hier mehrere Ausbaustufen — entscheidend ist, wie weit der Motor bereits optimiert ist. Stage 1 ist der Einstieg für den serienbelassenen Wagen. Stage 2.5 Power-Max regelt variabel und ladedruckgeführt — die übliche Wahl bei moderater Mehrleistung und Dauerlast. Stage 3 DI ist auf Direkteinspritzer abgestimmt — schneller Druckaufbau und passendes Düsen-Setup.
Effekt in Zahlen: −40 bis −60 °C niedrigere Ansaugtemperatur unter Volllast, dadurch mehr Klopfreserve und weniger Zündwinkelrücknahme. Die Leistung bleibt auch im Sommer und bei wiederholter Volllast stabil.

Standard Boost Cooler kits ship with red pressure hoses and push-on fittings. The ProLine variant uses stainless steel braided lines and AN fittings - motorsport-grade pressure resistance, higher heat tolerance.
