Beim S5 quattro im Audi A5 Sportback (8TA) ist der serienmäßige Ladeluftkühler auf 245 kW (333 PS) ausgelegt — nicht auf mehr. Bei Softwareoptimierung wird die Ladeluft heiß, und die Klopfreserve schrumpft genau dort, wo die Mehrleistung anliegen soll.
Empfohlene Konfiguration für den S5 quattro (245 kW): Passend sind hier mehrere Ausbaustufen — entscheidend ist, wie weit der Motor bereits optimiert ist. Stage 1 ist der Einstieg für den serienbelassenen Wagen. Stage 2.5 Power-Max regelt variabel und ladedruckgeführt — die übliche Wahl bei moderater Mehrleistung und Dauerlast. Stage 3 DI ist auf Direkteinspritzer abgestimmt — schneller Druckaufbau und passendes Düsen-Setup.
