Complete Starterkit with 300psi Pumpsystem and adjustable boost pressure switch.
The operation is very simple: The Boost Cooler system starts injecting when the boost switch reaches the user-adjustable point and it injects a fixed amount of fluid through the nozzle until the switch opens again.
Upgradeable to Stage 2 and Stage 3 Systems.
The Stage 2 Boost Cooler progressively injects more or less water or water/alcohol, according to manifold boost pressure (MAP sensor included). The system can be set in seconds using the LCD programming unit supplied.
For all turbo/compressor engines up to 2.1 bar boost pressure.

Gebaut von 2011 bis 2013, liefert der Cooper SD im MINI Mini (R56) 105 kW (143 PS). Typisch für den aufgeladenen Diesel: Der Motor verträgt mehr Einspritzmenge, aber die thermische Reserve wird knapp — spürbar bei Anhängerbetrieb, langer Autobahnetappe oder nach einer Softwareoptimierung.
Empfohlene Konfiguration für den Cooper SD (105 kW): Für diesen Motor sind mehrere Stufen hinterlegt; die Wahl richtet sich nach Softwarestand und Einsatzzweck. Stage 1 ist der Einstieg für den serienbelassenen Wagen. Stage 2.5 Power-Max regelt variabel und ladedruckgeführt — die übliche Wahl bei moderater Mehrleistung und Dauerlast. Stage 3 TD MPG-MAX ist die Vollausbaustufe für stärkere Software, Anhänger- und Langstreckenbetrieb.
Effekt in Zahlen: −100 bis −300 °C Abgastemperatur je nach Last, spürbar weniger Rußentwicklung und damit geringere DPF-Beladung, dazu eine belastbare Mehrleistung im Bereich von 65 PS und mehr bei abgestimmter Software.

Standard Boost Cooler kits ship with red pressure hoses and push-on fittings. The ProLine variant uses stainless steel braided lines and AN fittings - motorsport-grade pressure resistance, higher heat tolerance.
